The type of car is restricted to a three-door hatchback (usually a Hyundai Atos, Kia Picanto, or similar model) and the package includes fully-comprehensive insurance (excess of EUR 350, or EUR 6 per day charge). Petrol is not included and a EUR 60 is required. Identification (DNI or passport), a credit card (not Amex) and a valid driver’s license must be provided. A complimentary bus service runs regularly between the airport and the Helle Hollis Rent a Car office.
